Daniel D. A. Williams
Minister of Municipal Affairs, Government of Alberta

Dan is a lifelong Catholic, husband to Maureen, and father to 3-year old Benedict. Dan has served as the MLA representing Peace River since 2019. In 2023, he was appointed to Cabinet as the Minister of Mental Health and Addiction, where he helped awaken the province and nation to the idea that recovery is possible—even likely—informed by the belief that every life has God-given dignity. Presently, Dan serves as Alberta's Minister of Municipal Affairs, where he guides policies that promote the flourishing of families and households as the Aristotelian centre of strong communities.

Dr. Jennifer Fast, PhD

Academic Dean, Holy House of Our Lady & St. Benedict

Jennifer Fast has been involved in classical education as a student, teacher, and administrator for over 25 years. She attended Cair Paravel-Latin School, graduated with her BA in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College, and holds a Masters and a PhD in Literature from the University of Dallas. She has taught for WISDOM Home Schooling, Founders Classical Academy, the University of Dallas, and Newman Theological College. She lives in Edmonton, AB, with her husband Francis and their three children. 

Fundraising Goal
The initial goal for this event is to raise $50,000 towards our future building considerations, a portion of which will go towards General Operations. All funds raised beyond that goal will go towards the future building considerations. All donations (including approximately $70 of each ticket purchase) will be eligible for a charitable receipt.
