As apostolates of the Parish of St. John the Evangelist, The Gilbertine Academy and its Shared Responsibility Programmes, The Holy House of Our Lady & St. John in Calgary and The Holy House of Our Lady & St. Joseph in Edmonton, are presided over by the Parish Priest of St. John’s, through the Gilbertine Institute of Catholic Studies. The Parish Priest is the final adjudicator of all matters pertaining to The Gilbertine Academy and Holy House. The Board of the Gilbertine Institute assists and supports the Parish Priest in the formulation of policy for the Gilbertine Academy and Holy House in accordance with its mission. The day to day operations of The Gilbertine Academy and Holy House are administered by the Associate Principal, who acts under the authority of the Principal of the Institute, and, ultimately, of the Parish Priest.
