Your Next Steps: A Discernment Process
Remember, the decision to enrol your child(ren) with Holy House is a spiritual decision as much as it is practical. Take time to pray and ask God to reveal His most gracious desire for you and your family. It’s important to familiarise yourself with this website — especially the Prospectus and Calendar — then follow these steps:
Make an appointment to meet with the Associate Principal, Mr. Mark Ingham. Both children and parents must attend;
Make an appointment to visit Holy House on a Tuesday or Thursday to see it in action;
If you are not already members of St. Benedict’s in Edmonton, attend a Sunday Mass at 10:00 am to witness our liturgical patrimony;
Pray asking the Lord for clarity; and
Fill out a Registration Package, and if you need to, fill out a Tuition Assistance form.
Please note, in the case where there is a waiting pool, parishioners of St. Benedict are moved to the top for first consideration. That said, even children of parishioners must be a complete fit. The decision to enrol must make sense for the family, parish, and the school.
